Let's build a state!

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush on Friday promised to "spend the capital of the United States" to establish a Palestinian state and secure a lasting peace in the Middle East.
Did you read that? W promised to spend the capital of the United States for this. Also, Tony Blair is on board! Democracy ahoy! Honestly, this isn't even worth the time for me.
Think of America as a rubber band. When you stretch it out, it becomes very tense. Stretch it further, it snaps and hits you in the eye. That's bad and that's what's happening.
Here's a news flash while we're here, W is warning of escalating violence in Iraq! Say it ain't so, W! I never would have guessed! W says we are there to provide the stability that is necessary for Iraq to hold democratic elections:
"And U.N. officials are helping the Iraqi people prepare for those elections... As those elections draw near, the desperation of the killers will grow and the violence could escalate. Success of democracy in Iraq will be a crushing blow to the forces of terror, and the terrorists know it."
What could honestly follow that? I don't even have anything sarcastic. It's honestly rediculous to comprehend. Way to go coach! You've got the big game wrapped up!

Bush needs break away from the neocons and evangelicals long enough to have a moderate thinker whisper into his ear "You can't force a country with diverse religions that have deep contempt for one another to form a single democratic government until they can learn tolerance which takes many years to cultivate. Mr. President, we can't force our world view on other countries. By the way, how do you expect other countries to view democracy as something to strive for when we can't have fair elections in our own country".
Over one hundred thousand dead iraqi's, mostly women and children. These deaths and those of our brave men and women are on this unelected President's head. The more he continues his cocky, strutting, condescending attitude with his nonexistent mandate, the more I become more active and vocal about the numerous injustices that have occured on his watch. I won't stop writing letters and speaking out until we get some smarts.
I noticed that you compared America to a rubber band.
In the future, could you make a comparison between W and a turd?
I will try to work it in once a post.
Thank you.
